Principal's Message

Hope that your November is off to a good start! Hard to believe that we are heading into the holiday season!

I hope that your November is off to a good start!

Our amazing Capri teachers and staff continue to work hard each day to facilitate the best possible distance learning for your students. We truly appreciate your partnership with us and continued support! Together, I know we can continue to do our best to support our students both academically and social-emotionally.

We are getting closer to bringing our students back to campus! January 4th is still our projected date to start returning students to campus in our hybrid model. Our Instructional Leadership Team and Logistics Committee continue to meet and present ideas to the entire staff. We are collaborating with them as well as the district office staff and other school sites to create the best possible plan for the safe return of our students. We have missed them and look forward to seeing them on campus again.

A parent handbook for the return to school will be shared in December with all families so that you will have the details of the protocols and procedures that have been developed to keep everyone safe. Videos will be available as well that outline all of our safety processes.

As a district, we are waiting to see how pandemic numbers look after the Thanksgiving Break and we will be making roll out decisions based on our county situation.

Cohort information will go out in December. Look for an announcement for the next Parent Learning Community in December where we will go over all of the schedules and safety procedures in place for January. Stay tuned!
