Student privacy and confidentiality are top priorities for us. A recent lawsuit against the California Department of Education (CDE) regarding confidential student data is impacting all school districts across the state. We want to make you aware of this case and provide you with important information about it.

Campbell Union School District was not involved in the lawsuit and is not the subject of any of the suit’s allegations. Our District is not required to disclose any student information, nor does it intend to do so.

Click here to read the message from the Superintendent and see the objection form online. Hard copies also will be available from the school office after 10 a.m. Tuesday 2/23.

mobile dairy classroom

Capri students got a wonderful surprise this week when the Caifornia Dairy Council's Mobile Dairy Classroom arrived to educate us on how milk and dairy foods are produced and how they contribute to healthy eating. Our students learned about the farm to table process and about the many ways they can make healthy choices for themselves each day. They also received an overview of the agricultural technology used on dairy farms, basic cow anatomy and life cycle as well as a demonstration on milking!

Capri students took pride in sharing their generous spirit with the community today! For two weeks last November, staff and students collected "piggy bank pennies" in addition to their annual canned food drive hoping to raise extra funds for those in need in our area. After all the money was counted, they proudly presented Second Harvest Food Bank with a check for $1454.57! Way to go Capri Cougars!
