Over the coming weeks, students in grades 3-5 will be taking the state CAASPP assessments in Language Arts and Math. Also, students in grades K-5 will complete end-of-the-year district tests. It is very important for students to attend school each day and to arrive on time.

As we head into warmer weather, please make sure that students wear close-toed shoes to school. Sandals and flip flops should be reserved for weekend wear and the beach.

On Wednesday, April 19, we will be hosting our annual Capri Showcase. Classrooms will be open from 12:30 – 1:00. During this time, students will be taking their parents/guardians on a classroom tour to show off many of the wonderful assignments, projects, and work samples that represent their hard work this year. Third grade classes will also display samples of art from our third grade ArtsEd program in the cafeteria.
As you know, our district is planning to open a new TK-8 school at the current Campbell Middle School site for the 2018-19 school year. In order to get plans underway and continue the transition to the new model, Mrs. Ready and Mr. Cribari will now be working full-time on this project. However,
Ms. Wellendorf, our current Assistant Principal, has been appointed to be Principal at Capri next year. She, along with a new full-time Assistant Principal, will continue the good work that has developed here over the years.
We are very excited about the opportunity to build a dynamic and innovative TK-8 school in Campbell, and we are confident that the Capri school community will continue to flourish.
