You have control over how and when you receive ParentSquare notifications from your child's school and district. The attached handout in both English and Spanish can tell you how.

It can be especially helpful for families who have several students, because it gives you one place to get all messages from your child's teachers,  the school office, and the district.

You can choose to receive notices by email, text and/or the free ParentSquare app.
Want to be a ParentSquare Pro?

Check out ParentSquare's robust index of Help articles. From the mobile app, select the stack of lines in the upper left corner, then choose the Help option.

Welcome back Cougars!  We are excited to see everyone on Wednesday, August 21st.  Staff has been working hard for several weeks getting ready for the new school year.  We know that this year will be filled with lots of learning, collaboration, and FUN.

To help ensure the safety of all, please note these reminders regarding morning drop off and afternoon pickup:

  • School gates will open at 7:50 AM and students are to make their way to their classroom lines.  Adults may enter campus and wait with their children.

  • Please refrain from playing on the play structure or with equipment during morning drop off.

  • School starts at 8:00 AM sharp.  Any student arriving after this time will need to check in with the office for a tardy slip.

  • After school adults will be allowed on campus to pick up students.

  • TK, kinder, first grade, and second grade students must be picked up at their classrooms unless arrangements have been made with your child’s homeroom teacher.

  • All adults and students need to leave campus immediately after pick up.  We have Campbell Care and other programs on campus that require us to secure the campus for everyone's safety.

  • Please do not park in the circular driveway, this is used for loading and unloading only.    We need to keep the traffic flowing.

  • Capri does have a bus that will be dropping off and picking students up each day.  Please do not block the bus loading zone in front of the preschool playground.

  • Let’s be good neighbors and not block driveways or mailboxes.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Staying focused in class is tough on an empty stomach. That's why ensuring your child is well-nourished is a top priority at Capri. Thanks to the Universal Free Meals program, all students receive meals at no cost, helping them stay energized and ready to learn throughout the day.

To help families plan ahead, here is how it works:

Monthly Menus:

Parents can easily access the school’s monthly meal menus on our school’s home page, making it simple to plan ahead and keep track of what’s being served.

Meal Applications Matter:

Filling out a school meals application isn’t just about ensuring your child gets nutritious meals—it also benefits the entire school community. For every student who applies and qualifies for free or reduced-price meals, the school receives over $1,000 in grant funding. These funds are used for crucial resources like student technology, after-school programs, counseling services, and kitchen equipment. Additionally, qualifying families may be eligible for free or discounted internet services and summer camp opportunities.

For more information, please contact the school office or visit the Child Nutrition Department’s website.

To our community, thank you for your continued support and partnership. Your involvement and dedication are what make our school a wonderful place for learning and growth.

Enjoy a safe and happy summer. I look forward to seeing you all on August 21st refreshed and ready for another successful school year!
