Mrs. Wellendorf had some bittersweet news for our Capri families.  She has been offered the opportunity to move into a new role in our district. Starting in January, she will be transitioning into the position of Director of Special Education. She is pleased to announce that Mr. Eric Brown has been appointed as Capri’s next Principal.

This is one of the easiest ways to volunteer your time and give back to our PTA by ensuring a fair and smooth election process of our 2021/2022 Executive Board. To put it simply, there is no PTA without an Executive Board and there is no Executive Board without a Nominating Committee! We need YOU!

The Committee will consist of 3 current PTA members (plus one alternate) who:

  • Consider all who wish to run for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Auditor and determine as a group if they are qualified to serve our community.
  • Submit, as a group, an official endorsement 30 days prior to the April Election Meeting
  • Have one member of the group share the results with the membership on the April 14th Election Meeting
  • If you can help, please email capripta [at] yahoo.com before December 11th!

Now through December 11, we are asking Capri families to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank. Our goal was to raise $500, which will pay for 1,000 meals!  We surpassed that goal and have now surpassed our second goal of $1000!  Thank you to everyone who has donated.

During this very difficult year, the food banks need our help more than ever so if you have not had a chance to donate and are in a position to do so, it is not too late.

You can make a difference with just $1; the more we each give the more we help our community. Click on this link to donate.
