Our Walk-a-thon is happening on April 21st and we need your help. Please click here to access the Sign-Up Genius to choose your spot to volunteer that day. We will need lots of parent help to make sure this is a special day for our students. We will need parents to help with setting up in the morning and cleaning up in the afternoon. We need parents to mark the laps as the kids walk by and we need parents to just be there to be cheerleaders and give encouragement.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the PTA at capriptaca [at] gmail.com.
Tomorrow is Spring Picture Day. Bring your smiles! Parents will be able to preview the pictures before purchasing.
Tuesday evening Capri held its first Multicultural Fair. 19 countries from around the world were featured with families sharing their heritage and culture. There was art, traditional dress, food samples, history, and even some dance. Students and families were provided a passport and would collect stamps from each of the countries they visitied. We had a wonderful turn out with a lot of smiling faces.
Thank you Capri community for supporting such a wonderful event. We look forward to an even bigger fair next year with more countries repesented!
There is no school this Friday, March 10. It is a professional development day for teachers. We will see you all on Monday, March 13. Enjoy your long weekend!
Please allow yourself plenty of time to find parking and walk. You may park along the street, or in the neighboring off-street parking where allowed. Please be thoughtful of our neighbors and do not double park, do not block driveways or mailboxes, be courteous to pedestrian and automobile traffic and please obey all speed limits. The speed limit on streets around the school is 25 MPH. Our children’s safety is our top priority and your help is much appreciated.
You may drop-off or pick-up your child using the “drop off/pick up” lane in the drive-thru at the front of the school. When using this lane, please make sure your child enters and exits to the right next to the curb, not into passing traffic. This will keep your child safe. If your child is not out front when you arrive for pick-up, please circle the parking lot/drive-thru/neighborhood until you see your child. Then you may enter the “loading” lane to pick them up at the curb. Please do NOT block the drop-off lane, park in red zones, or unauthorized areas, or leave your car unattended. Please - Right turn only out of the loop.
If your child is riding a bike or scooter to school, please be sure they are wearing a helmet. If not wearing a helmet, parents will be asked to pick up bike or scooter from the office. Please advise your student not to ride, only walk, on campus.
We have asked for Campbell PD support in this effort.
Thank you for helping us keep our students and families safe!
Capri is asking for parent/community volunteers to help with the flow of traffic during morning drop off in our loop. If interested please contact Jackie Reyes in our front office.
