Flu Season is Here

Make sure you take precautions.

The flu virus and other respiratory “bugs” are most common during the fall and winter. Health professionals recommend several effective precautions to help slow the spread of germs that cause respiratory (nose, throat, and lungs) illnesses, like the flu.

  1. Get a flu vaccine each year.
  2. Avoid contact with people who are sick.
  3. Cover coughs and sneezes.
  4. Wash hands frequently.
  5. Get plenty of rest.

If your child does become ill, please report the absence by calling (408) 341-7118

If your child does not have healthcare insurance, please contact our Community Liaison, Debbie Nogales, for information about no-cost or low-cost insurance program options. To reach Debbie, call 408-364-4260 or email dnogales [at] campbellusd.org.
