First Grade Welcomes New Teacher, Mrs. Vander Kooi

Meet Loni Vander Kooi

Before pursuing her passion as a teacher Mrs. Vander Kooi was a competitive swim coach for a local Bay Area Swim Team. During her time at SJSU she completed her student teaching in First and Fifth grade at two other Campbell Union School District Schools.

Mrs. Vander Kooi enjoys being with her family, her husband, their two daughters, and two dogs.  She also enjoys spending time outside hiking, camping, and going to the beach. One of her favorite things to do is watching her daughters pursue their passions of swimming, surfing, and dance. She is looking forward to joining the Capri family as a faculty member and to continue the excitement of learning for all students at the school.
