Virtual Visit to Sumeg Village

Ms. Craig's 4th grade class enjoyed a virtual field trip to Sumeg Village (in the Northernmost coast of California 55 miles south of the Oregon border) through California State Parks PORTS programs. The children were engaged in our program this week where the park interpreter, Princess, took them around Sumeg and taught them about some of the traditions and customs of the Yurok that continue to this day.
