About Me:

Welcome to the 2015-16 school year!  I am honored to be serving our Capri Cougars for the third year and to have the opportuniy to work with amazing teachers and a wonderful community.   Our staff has a strong commitment to academic excellence, and we are proud of the hard work that has been accomplished with the implementation of the Common Core State Standards.  Students are challenged with an increased emphasis on rigor, higher-order thinking skills, technology, and problem-solving.  We will continue to take a proactive approach in educating our students about respectful social interactions, and throughout the year, students will be recognized for their academic achievement, positive behavior,  leadership, citizenship, and service learning.   I invite you to take an active role and consider joining our PTA, attending Principal's Coffees, volunteering on campus, and attending school-wide events and activities.

I have spent most of my life in the Bay Area, and I love working in the school setting.  There are few, if any profesions that are as rewarding as helping students learn, and I am dedicated to ensuring that all students are provided with the highest level of academics and the necessary life skills to prepare them to be successful in today's world.
