Family Science Night from the Children's Discovery Museum (May 18) - looking for 8 volunteers to run "Adventures in Chemistry" exhibit tables from 5:30pm - 8:00pm
Family Movie Night (June 1) - looking for volunteers to BBQ and serve dinners Committees will need to be formed for next year’s Walk-a-thon (September 28) and Fall Festival (October) - looking for volunteers
Volunteer picture-takers - take and upload pictures in the classroom, on the playground, at events such as assemblies, field trips, family nights Save the date for the Safeway 10% Goes Back to Schools program! Our next Safeway 10% Goes Back to Schools program will begin August 8th. If you're already registered in eScrip, there is no need to drop off receipts. If you (or anybody you know) isn't registered in eScrip, we will have boxes to drop off receipts at the following Safeway locations.
Next year's first PTA meeting - September 12 PTA meetings are usually held every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Staff Lounge. Our first PTA meeting for next school year will be held the same night as Back To School Night from 5-7pm. Principal Wilce will be there along with free on-site professional babysitting for children over 3 years old. Details are listed on the Meetings link at the bottom of this page or click here.
New Online Magazine and Gift Purchase Program - 40% goes to Capri! Click on the logo above to renew or purchase any magazine or gift and 40% of your purchase price will go to Capri! Note: You can save anywhere from 40-90% off magazine subscriptions! Please click here if you have any questions about this program. Target Take Charge of Education Program keeps on giving to Capri! Do you have a Target REDcard (credit card and/or debit card)? If so, you probably know you save 5% off all purchases at Target. But, did you know Target will also donate 1% of your purchases to Capri (checks go directly to Principal Wilce)? And Target donates 1/2% of all Target Visa credit card purchases made outside of Target. All you need to do is enroll in Target's Take Charge of Education Program. Another free and easy way to support Capri! Grandparents, alumni, neighbors and friends can also help support Capri!

Last Coffee with the Principal of the year - May 4 Principal Wilce will be having his next Coffee with the Principal on Friday, May 4 at 8 a.m. in the Staff Lounge. All parents are encouraged to attend an informal meet and greet, discuss assorted topics and question-and-answer. Snacks and coffee will be provided by the PTA. S.H.A.R.E.S Rewards Card Program If you shop at Lucky, SaveMart or FoodMaxx supermarkets, you can also contribute to Capri. S.H.A.R.E.S. rewards cards are free to pick-up at the front desk.
